As we all know, Baron is a very important target on the map. Defeating Baron will give you an extremely powerful buff and make attacking the opponent’s base more effective and easier to win. So in theory, Baron is the enemy of the two Blue and Red teams in League of Legends, not taking sides.
However, recently, “bug saint” Vandiril discovered that Baron suddenly became an ally of gamers in an unexpected way. Normally, if defeated by Baron, that player will be notified as being defeated by this target, not receiving any resources. However, in the past time, Baron has had an error when helping players receive both gold and experience, even money shut down when “self-destructing” here.
Ah yes, that makes perfect sense…
As mentioned above, this error may stem from the fact that League of Legends perceives that Baron is the opponent of both teams. When a player is killed by Baron but there is an enemy champion nearby (that hasn’t affected the champion yet) the game determines that the life needs to be awarded a bounty. Obviously, Baron can’t be given money because it doesn’t use gold, as a result, LoL also calculates the money to kill, shut down for the player who has just “self-destructed”.
As in the video, Kayn is close, but has not affected Jayce, so when this champion is defeated by Baron, he will receive full kill gold and shut down
The above error can be said to be extremely serious when it can be used to “self-destruct” but still receive gold and create a big imbalance in the match. Moreover, this bug can also create a big inhibition on the opponent when the network is very close and then it is taken away, so the opponent has more money while I get nothing.
Hopefully Riot Games will soon recognize this error and fix it as soon as possible. If players abuse it to climb ranks quickly, it will be a disaster for League of Legends.
