With the Joy-con set is quite fragile, so when gamers want to fight top action games like Bayonetta or fast-paced games like Smash Bros.., they often have to look for another controller and whether DualSense can respond. do that for Switch gamers.
Many gamers want to use DualSense for Switch but is it worth it?
First of all, Game4V would like to clarify one thing that currently the Switch has Firmware that supports Bluetooth, but it only stops at connecting speakers and headphones, but does not support connecting devices like other brands’ controllers like PS5’s DualSense. The reason I can connect these two devices together is by using an adapter called 8Bitdo. At this point, many people may wonder why they have to buy a DualSense hand to play on Switch without buying a Pro Controller directly? There are two reasons for this first, maybe you guys like me own a PS5 with two controllers, so instead of having to buy an extra Pro Controller, it’s much more economical to buy an adapter. The second is the feeling part, pretty sure many gamers in Vietnam still prefer to use the PlayStation controller in all cases rather than other hand models. Using the adapter is also quite easy, just ban the dock and then press the connect button and you’re done.
Thanks to 8Bitdo everything is easier
What surprised me the most was that all the buttons were allotted almost perfectly without you having to install anything else. Even the camera button on the Pro hand is assigned a touchpad component on the DualSense, which helps me capture every moment in my favorite game on the Switch. For many of you this might make no sense, but for in-game shooters like me, the transition from a tiny button to a larger sectional part keeps me from missing out on great moments. great. The feeling of holding is also certainly the button part is also much smoother, so even if you play old games with this controller model, you will have a more realistic experience. Of course, everything must have a disadvantage, using the DualSense controller on the Switch is not for beginners because the symbols on the two models are different, so if you don’t know the button, change it to the DualSense controller. you won’t know where node A, B, X, Y is located. Next, if you play traditional games like Zelda, Mario, Smash Bro, …. it’s great, but with games that support touch on dumb hands (actually Zelda does) DualSense can’t be used. Next, if you want to use Amiibo, you have to take it out and put it on the right Joy-Con, not on the middle of the handle like before. Finally, you will not be able to use the Dual Sense hand without the Dock because the adapter connects via the USB port (there is also a type of connection via the Type C port, but it is not very stable).
It can be said that despite providing a pretty great experience, but if you don’t have a DualSense controller available at home or just want to find a controller for multiplayer, I still recommend you to choose the Pro models for Switch.
