After returning from MSI 2022, Faker proved quite confident in T1’s journey to capture the meta and prepare for the 2022 Summer LCK.
Recently, the media day of the LCK Summer 2022 has ended with a lot of interesting information before the tournament. Faker also gave a lot of opinions about himself and about the opponents this summer.
Sharing about the individual he was most looking forward to in the summer, Faker chose DWG KIA’s mid laner – ShowMaker. But when talking about the strongest candidate for the summer championship, the Devil King chose Gen.G Esports: “GEN is the Spring runner-up, more practice will bring GEN a lot of advantages. .”
Faker has high hopes for ShowMaker this summer.
With the exception of Faker as well as T1, no one picked GEN as a summer championship candidate.
Previously, there were many gamers who thought that teams that had to attend MSI would face many disadvantages when going to the summer tournament. The reason is that these champions will have to spend time from the gym to the gaming house, quarantine time, getting used to the meta of the new update, etc.
However, Faker was very confident and replied, “I don’t think it is a disadvantage because the time between MSI and this year’s summer is quite long. We are also doing our own meta research and referencing other teams, so we can rise to the top.”
Faker picked Singed mid lane once at the 2018 Asian Games and lost that match.
Talking about the mid lane Singed that is emerging in the meta these days, Faker said: “If the situation is right, I can pick any champion.”
Finally, Faker also set a goal for this season: “The goal is to win in the summer as much as possible like the spring.”
