Devolver Digital, Croteam and Timelock Studio have released a reveal trailer for the release date of Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem.
Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem will bring five new levels from an abandoned ghost town to the frozen Arctic coastlines, creating a more diverse environment for gamers to enjoy.
The Serious Sam series recently returned with the Serious Sam 4 game, and this game has been confirmed by Devolver Digital to have an expansion game called Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem. This version of the game can be played separately from Serious Sam 4 or as an addition to the game itself, offering new weapons, equipment, vehicles, and a variety of enemies.
Devolver Digital and Croteam have teamed up with Timelock Studio to create a new title slated for release later this month, January 25th. The game will take place in an endlessly frozen Russian landscape as Sam Stone on a journey to find General Brand in hiding. Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem will bring five new levels from an abandoned ghost town to the frozen Arctic coastlines, creating a more diverse environment for gamers to enjoy.
New enemies and bosses will also be available in Siberian Mayhem, and according to the developers, they will be more advanced and epic than the creatures in Serious Sam 4. Included with the new arsenal are the AK rifles. Classic Russian and an experimental crossbow called Perun will give gamers more ways to conquer fierce and potential enemies. Although the developer has mentioned new equipment and vehicles in Siberian Mayhem, nothing about them has been confirmed other than these two new weapons.
The reveal trailer for Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem released by Devolver Digital shows off what fans of the series can expect from the upcoming expansion, showing off a few groups of enemies that have never been seen before. previously disclosed. One scene in the video shows a group of small green creatures darting around the battlefield while spewing poison from their mouths, and another shows a group of humanoid creatures at lightning speed. While some of the monsters in the trailer look epic enough to be bosses, most of them are shown over and over again suggesting they’re not bosses but simply even “soldiers” in Siberian Mayhem. would also be terrifyingly large.
Similar to Serious Sam 4, Siberian Mayhem will offer side quests that allow players to explore the storyline by learning more about the fictional version of Russia in the game. Croteam has also hinted that the expansion has some backstory about the world revealed through some hidden details in the map. Scattered areas of Russia’s Siberian Mayhem landscape also include new characters to meet and socialize on this adventure to Tunguska.
Since Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem will release in a few weeks, Serious Sam 4 fans won’t have to wait long to enjoy the game. Although Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem’s various monster types have been revealed in the new trailer, it’s currently unclear if there are any epic bosses among them. Hopefully Devolver Digital will bring crazy battles like previous games that can satisfy gamers.
