Recently, Slay officially announced the farewell to SBTC Esports after a long time “missing” in the professional arena.
On his personal Facebook page, Slay said that he is no longer active under the SBTC Esports shirt and is a free agent. After leaving SBTC, it seems that the player born in 1997 still wants to stick with the professional League of Legends arena, and expressed his willingness to listen to invitations from other teams or organizations in the field of eSports.
Calling Slay a legend of VCS is no exaggeration, when he is one of the players who owns the most number of crowns in the history of Vietnamese League of Legends. Slay is also one of the pieces of the first “Dream Team” that the SBTC team recruited, besides Dia1, Zeros, Yijin…
After the catastrophic failure of the aforementioned “super squad” project, when SE could not reach the Playoffs round of VCS in the first season to attend, while most of the players were punished or drama, SE moved plans to recruit young talents, and Slay also lost his position to Palette.
Since the 2022 season, Slay has completely disappeared from the list of SE competitions as well as the professional arena, and most of the audience implicitly understands that Slay and SE’s relationship is coming to an end.
With this player’s departure, SE’s first-generation Dream Team lineup will now have only Dia1. Currently, there is still no information about the next stop of the former VCS champion.
