Kodoani.com – The YouTube channel dedicated to Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog brand uploaded a new episode for Sonic PrimeWild Brain Studios’ 3D animated series, on Friday.
Sega also announced on Sonic Central that Sega and Hardlight’s 2013 Sonic Dash mobile game will launch on Netflix as Sonic Prime Dash. The game will launch “with the new season of Sonic Prime”
The Sonic Prime series will return on Netflix on July 13.
Sonic Prime premieres on December 15 with one 40-minute episode and seven 20-minute episodes. Although WildBrain Ltd.’s Vancouver studio. originally announced that they would be animating a total of 24 episodes, but there is no longer an official episode count for the entire series. Man of Action Entertainment staff (Ben 10, Big Hero 6) serve as host and executive producer, while Sega and WildBrain handle production, distribution, and licensing.
The story focuses on Sonic’s adventures in a “strange new multiverse”. Sonic sets out to save the universe while on his own journey of self-discovery and redemption. Shadow the Hedgehog, among other franchise characters, is also present on the show.
Deven Mack is the new voice of Sonic in the series. Mack stated that the current actors for Sonic in the game and film will continue to voice the character.

Wild Brain Studios and Man of Action Entertainment previously worked together on Mega Man: Complete Charged – the animated television series based on the game Mega Man (Rockman).
