A reliable leaker has revealed the news that Sony is planning a huge acquisition of CD Projekt Red.

This leaker is known to leak news related to Destiny and the news coming from this person is all true and trustworthy with the kind of information they share. This time the news is related to Sony and the gaming community is hotly debating the possibility of this becoming a reality.

The evidence comes from a screenshot of Sony’s page on a market data platform called PitchBook, which shows that the merger/acquisition took place with CDPR on October 26, 2022. However, the community did not. no further evidence has been found anywhere else, and it seems unlikely that Sony will be sharing such big news with the world. Especially considering at the time five months had passed since the deal was leaked.

However, many also pointed out that Days Gone 2 is unlikely as Bend Studio is said to have chosen to work on a new IP instead.
