HiHi Jets Ryo Hashimoto, Akari Takaishi to star in age gap love affair between student and teacher
Kodoani.com – MBS announced on Wednesday that it is producing a live-action adaptation of the manga. Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyōshi (Fallen High School Girl and Disabled Teacher). The drama will premiere on MBS’s “Drama Tokku” channel on April 6. Jets Ryo Hashimoto (left in photo below) will play teacher Jin Haiba, while Akari Takaishi (live-action My Happy Marriage, Baby Walkure, right) will play student Mikoto Ochiai.
The manga’s story begins just as high school student Mikoto Ochiai is trying to take her own life by jumping off the school’s roof, but a teacher named Jin Haiba steps in and convinces her to stop, suggesting that she should try having sex with him before she dies.
Manga author sora launched the manga in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine in July 2017, originally intended as a short story series, but eventually developed into a series. The manga is continuing, and Hakusensha published the manga’s 15th compiled book volume in December 2022.
The nickname sora is the pseudonym of Sora Mizuki. Mizuki launched The Story of Our Unlikely Love manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine in 2017 and ended it with the manga’s second volume in 2018. Mizuki also drew A Reincarnated Witch Spells Doom, along with the writer. Tail Yuzuhara. The manga launched on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker service in December 2018 and is still ongoing.
