THQ Nordic revealed a new trailer for Knights of Honor 2: Sovereign showing the gameplay of the upcoming medieval RTS title.
Publisher THQ Nordic recently streamed its summer gameplay event called THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2022. The event revealed all the new game lines players can expect, including including highly anticipated releases like Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed.
One of the new games revealed at the THQ Nordic showcase included Knights of Honor 2: Sovereign. The RTS game was announced in 2019 as a sequel to Knights of Honor developed by Black Sea Studios, now Creative Assembly Sofia and being developed by Black Sea Games with developers who worked on it. first game part. However, the THQ Nordic showcase not only revealed a brief trailer, but also showed a gameplay clip.
The gameplay of Knights of Honor 2: Sovereign gives an overview of what the game will be like. The trailer is narrated by an advisor to the player’s character. The game begins by having the player plan to invade a neighboring kingdom, establish trade routes, and cause an uprising in another. Of course, the trailer shows a battle scene where players can recruit and lead their armies into battle. Players will be able to take direct control of their forces and lead them in RTS battle. They can use familiar RTS tactics against their opponents, such as closing in on enemies with heavy units, or sending troops to the walls.
The host of the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase also shared some details about the game. Notably, Knights of Honor 2: Sovereign is set in Medieval Europe, where players can choose their kingdom from Europe, North Africa, and parts of Asia. Gamers will play as the head of their royal family and will be able to designate their own marshals, merchants, clerics, diplomats and spies. Players can choose to rule, whether through diplomacy or conquest by brute force, and with friends in multiple game modes will keep the experience “fresh” in Knights of Honor 2: Sovereign.
Despite showing new gameplay footage, the release date of Knights of Honor 2: Sovereign was not revealed in the trailer, so players will need to stay tuned for more updates on that.
