Recently, the official trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) was released and introduced Miles Morales’ journey through the Multiverse. For those who don’t know, Spider-Man 2099 is a fictional superhero appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Peter David and Rick Leonardi in 1992 for the Marvel comics line 2099. His real identity is Miguel O’Hara, a Mexican-Irish geneticist living in Nueva York (a city has been renamed from New York) in 2099, Miguel attempted to replicate the original Spider-Man’s abilities in another person, however he accidentally became a test subject. An accident caused half of his DNA to be rewritten using the genetic code of a mutant spider.

Spider-Man 2099 has appeared in many different adaptations, most recently when he appeared in the Post Credit of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (voiced by Oscar Isaac). In addition, actor Oscar Isaac will also return as the voice of Spider-Man 2099 in the upcoming film.
Speaking of strength, Miguel O’Hara is an exceptionally brilliant geneticist and is considered a genius. Although he did not undergo any combat training, he quickly developed an effective fighting style that made full use of his agility, strength, senses, and superhuman intellect.

Miguel’s hearing also improved, although not visually.
Another interesting detail is that Miguel possesses venom glands and sharp fangs. When biting an enemy, he can release a toxin that temporarily paralyzes his foes.
