Shinchosha’s website announced the final chapter of Yū Toyota’s spinoff manga Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Nomi on the 6th. The third and final volume will publish on the 9th.
The series is a spin-off of Toyota’s Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan (Papa and Dad’s Home Cooking) manga, and focuses on the main characters Sengoku and Harumi drinking and snacking.
Toyota launched the spin-off manga in Shinchosha’s Go Go Bunch magazine in April 2016, but moved the manga to Shinchosha’s Comic Bunch (later Kurage Bunch) website when Go Go Bunch ceased publication in February 2018. Shinchosha published the manga’s second compiled book volume in September 2018.
The original story of the Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan manga revolves around chiropractor Sengoku, who is suddenly entrusted with their child by his ex-girlfriend. He enlists help from his friend Harumi, a manga editor who is also a single father of one son. The story follows their daily struggles as they begin to live together with their children.
Toyota launched the manga in Shinchosha with Monthly Comic @Bunch (later simply Bunch Monthly Comic magazine) in April 2014, and ended the story in July 2020. Shinchosha announced volume 13 and also is the last in October 2020.
Square Enix Manga & Books is licensed Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! (30-sai Dōtei da to Mahō Tsukai ni Nareru Rashii) manga and released the first volume in English on March 10.
