Spoiler Blue Lock Chapter 230: Return of Hiori
Blue Lock Chapter 230 is titled Buddy, and it will begin by showing how Barou’s ultimate goal is to encourage Snuffy to give up his early retirement plans. While the Uber members were amused by his decision, Isagi shouted in frustration. He said that Barou’s craziest plan came true when he beat Isagi with a goal. Isagi was dismayed because he could not find a way to defeat Barou and Kaiser.
Raichi arrives and apologizes to Isagi because he thinks it is he who is to blame for not being able to accompany Snuffy. However, Isagi says that Raichi is not at fault. Suddenly, it was announced that the 3 minutes of master strikers had ended, so the substitutes would have a chance to play for the rest of the time.
Snuffy was the first to step onto the field; he was replaced by Sendo. After him is Noa, who is looking for a replacement. Noa looked at Kurona, but he wasn’t in the mood to play a match. While Igaguri intended to replace Kurona, Noa chose Kiyora Jin over him. However, Isagi interrupts and asks Noa to bring Hiori into the courtyard.
Despite knowing that Kiyora is an excellent player, he is a direct replacement for Kurona Ranze, which will fundamentally change nothing in the game. Therefore, according to the Blue Lock chapter 230 reveal, Isagi asked Noa to let Hiori Yo join the match.
Given that both Isagi and Hiori play the same game, Isagi believes that Hiori can help him score the final goal and become the protagonist of the match. Noa tried to reject this proposal because of its absurdity. However, it was Hiori Yo who tried to convince Noa of the same thing
Hiori reminisced about his past and how his parents forced him to join the sport. Despite that, he still wants to play and declares that he is willing to be Isagi’s shadow.
Noel Noa accepted the substitution offer; however, he set a condition. If this couple fails in their mission, they will be kicked out of the regular group. However, Isagi and Hiori were willing to take the risk and enter the field.
