Chapter #318 of My Hero Academia goes on to show that only when Deku really needs them will his friends always support him.
Deku finally ran out of power in My Hero Academia Chapter #318, “Reckless.” Deku continuously uses all the questions from All For One without giving his body time to rest or heal. While his desperation to find All For One was understandable, now Deku was hitting a giant wall from exhaustion. And though One For All’s second Wielder admires Deku’s strong determination to become a true superhero, it takes more than one person to save the entire world.
When Deku collapsed from exhaustion when faced with the Dictator, a gun hired by All For One, Bakugo came to the rescue. He seems very interested in Deku and forwards a phone call to someone, letting them know Deku’s location. Bakugo’s arrival also highlights the importance of having teammates – perhaps the future of a potential Class 1-A team.
The Second Wielder understood Deku’s motives and reassured the others that Deku’s actions were going nowhere, but the other predecessors could only watch as Deku ground himself to the ground from exhaustion. Luckily, Bakugo appeared heroically with one shot of his own to take down the Dictator. Bakugo’s demeanor shows that, like a second arm, he understands Deku’s motives, to a certain extent, and knowing Bakugo, he is ready to assist Deku in his hunt for All For One. Although everyone knows the secret of All For One, Bakugo is the only one who knows the history of the power.
Bakugo always makes sure to keep One For All’s secret and will never put All Might or Deku in danger. He’s always been the one to keep Deku under control, and will need that more than ever when saving Deku from the Dictator and hopefully taking him to some safe house to begin his rest.
It will also be up to Bakugo to tell some meaning to Deku and remind him that he is not alone in his fight against All For One. As noted in the My Hero Academia manga, Deku is fighting to be able to smile at all of his friends and family again, but running to the ground on his own could prevent that.
It’s unclear who is on the other end of the call, but Bakugo may be talking to classmates from Class 1-A, or even Class 1-B. As seen with Bakugo, the Pro Heroes aren’t the only ones watching Deku’s actions and Class 1-A includes many potentially young heroes who could assist him, but Deku is too hasty. gold and doesn’t want his teammates to join. Now, his classmates could be the ones to lift him up and show Deku the importance of working together.
The collaborative work of Class 1-A, Pro Heroes, and Deku will begin their prison break to defeat All For One in the My Hero Academia manga. Time has passed, and it’s safe to assume that the students from Class 1-A have acted like professional Heroes to maintain the peace during these tense times. Plus, the team had time to grow in ways Deku didn’t know the team could become stronger. Deku may not want to take help from his classmates, but deep down, he knows he needs them, and he’s had to go through the backlash working alone, so Deku now has to Accept the help you desperately need.
