Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 237 sees Kashimo Hajime move towards Sukuna before being stopped by Uraume, who is also hindered by Hakari Kinji. Hakari trapped her in his domain, but the giant block of ice she was riding continued to fall.
It is later revealed that the purpose of the ice is to provide Sukuna with the Cursed Tool: Ultimate Martial Arts Solution, created by Yorozu’s Binding Oath upon death. However, this weapon proves essentially useless as it uses electricity, something Kashima is resistant to.
Kashimo then asked Sukuna what strength meant and whether it was the curse of the strong to be alone and forever wander in search of strength. Sukuna replies that Gojo is the same and says he will show Kashimo all the answers he wants through their battle.
Kashimo then unleashed his Mythical Beast Amber Curse Technique, which seemingly began to overwhelm Sukuna. However, it is revealed that Kashimo’s cursed technique can only be used once as it can destroy his body.
The chapter ends by showing Sukuna completing her transformation into her original body to heal herself. This means Kashimo must fight a new Sukuna who possesses his original power and form.

The chapter begins with Kashimo analyzing Sukuna with his X-ray enhanced eyes. The narrator said Kashimo exclaimed that Sukuna was perfect.
The narrator then explains that even if Sukuna had to use the spell, his remaining two hands would be free. He can chant endlessly without straining his lungs due to having more mouths. He is superior to any other witch
Sukuna also recounted that he had defeated many strong enemies in the past such as the “Five Generals of the Void” & the “Sun, Moon and Star Squad” of the Northern Fujiwara clan and also defeated the “Desshichin Squad” of the Sugarwara clan and causing the angels from the Abe clan to retreat
Kashimo was fascinated and called Sukuna beautiful and then proceeded to attack. But Sukuna grabbed Kashimo and punched him away
Sukuna then unleashes a massive “Dismantle Slash”, an attack similar to the one that killed Satoru Gojo. Sukuna reminisces about Yorozu, calling her an idiot for trying to teach him about love. He believes that the people she should have taught were Gojo or Kashimo
The fight continued as Sukuna unleashed a Dismantle Slash which almost defeated Hajime. The scene changes to old Hajime, living in the Heian period. Sukuna said that many people must have challenged Hajime to be acknowledged by him, and Kashimo must have killed them. This is what Sukuna describes as “mercy.”
Kashimo then returned to his normal form and asked if Sukuna was satisfied fighting him. Sukuna said that he never expected others to please him and he only did what he wanted. When Kashimo died, the territory that held Hakari and Urame disappeared. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 238 ends with Yuji and Higuruma entering the battlefield.
