The original anime revolves around childhood friends in the world of “perceptive art”
Kodoani.com – Universal Japan revealed at the AnimeJapan 2022 booth on Saturday that it is producing a new original television anime titled Opus Colors will be released in 2023.
Anime revolves around the relationship between “artist” and “grading student”, in a new artistic field known as “perceptual art”. Kazuya Yamanashi is the son of a couple considered one of the founders of the perceptual arts, while Jun Tsuzuki is his friend. The two are childhood friends with Kyo Takise, who also has artistically influential parents and is also a 10th grader.
Anime reunites the staff of the STARMYU anime series. Rin Hinata, the author of STARMYU, is also credited as the creator of Opus Colors. Shunsuke Tada is again directing the anime at C-Station, with Sayaka Harada once again in charge of series composition. Asami Watanabe is designing the characters.
