The Steam Summer Sale is a great time for PC gamers, and this year’s Summer Sale will begin soon.

Steam Summer Sale

According to some sources, the Steam Summer Sale 2022 will start next Friday, June 24 and last until July 8.

Any gamer who plays PC games knows that Steam is an absolute leader in the industry when it comes to capturing a substantial share of the market. Of course, there are alternative game stores like GOG and Epic Games Store, but it is Valve who has won the hearts and trust of gamers the most. Besides being the first to appear, one thing that keeps players loyal to Steam is the regular sales, with the popular Steam Summer Sale being the most anticipated sale of the year.

According to some sources, the Steam Summer Sale 2022 will start next Friday, June 24 and last until July 8. The SteamDB website, which records data related to Steam even has a coin. Countdown timer until the event starts. Although it has not been officially confirmed yet, SteamDB always gives the exact time of the sale every year. As for which games will be discounted, we can’t say in advance, but according to SteamDB, games that were discounted last year are likely to return this year.

The Steam Summer Sale of 2021 already has games like Halo: The Masterchief Collection and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice on sale for pretty low prices. Even some older but still highly sought-after titles like The Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham Knight are massively discounted. On top of that, some of Valve’s own games such as Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal 2 were sold for just under $2. Any gamer who uses Steam regularly knows that the summer period is an exciting time to buy games. Even some people may end up overspending due to having too many cheap games.

The company certainly succeeded in creating Steam in 2003, and continuing with the many sale events will only help keep Valve’s brand as strong as ever.

With the release of big hits this year like Elden Ring, one of the highest-rated video games of all time, this summer’s sale is likely to be worth looking forward to. Of course being the most popular game doesn’t mean Elden Ring is guaranteed to get a discount, but gamers should definitely keep an eye on what FromSoftware has to offer.

While Valve used to be known primarily for making great games, today they are a huge force when it comes to the PC game store. The company certainly succeeded in creating Steam in 2003, and continuing with the many sale events will only help keep Valve’s brand as strong as ever.
