Stewie2K announces ‘retirement’ to the amazement of fans

Stewie2K will officially retire and focus on his streamer career as the content creator of Evil Geniuses.

One of the most prominent players in the North American CS:GO scene, Jake “Stewie2K” Yip recently officially announced his retirement, surprising fans.

I’m hype to announce that I’ll be streaming VAL & CS for @EvilGeniuses Creator Collective. For now, I’ll be stepping away from competitive CS and focusing on streaming. Thanks to those who tagged along and to many more! My future isn’t determined, so stop by tonight’s stream

“I am excited and will be announcing to fans that, from this point on, I will be streaming Valorant and CS:GO to Evil Geniuses as a content creator.” – Stewie2K announced. “For now, I will retire from the professional CS:GO arena and focus on my streamer career. Stewie2K has been competing and becoming one of the top players in North American CS:GO since 2016. In the past, he has been an integral part of Cloud 9 and especially Team Liquid CS:GO. . The arrival of Stewie2K has led Liquid to many unprecedented achievements in the history of the organization. Earlier this year, Stewie2K switched to playing for Eil Geniuses and reunited with 2 former C9 members, autimatic and RUSH.

There have been rumors that Stewie2K has gradually “lost fire” with CS: GO and will switch to playing full-time for the game Valorant. However, the guy has denied this rumor in the past. However, with the current moves, the ability for Stewie2K to debut in the professional Valorant arena is not too difficult. Especially when he also mentioned that he will focus on streaming two main games, CS: GO and especially Valorant.
