Stranger Things 4 sets a new record on Netflix as soon as it’s released
Stranger Things is an American science fiction-horror television series created by the Duffer Brothers and released on Netflix. The twins also serve as executive producers alongside Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen. The series premiered on July 15, 2016. Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, the first season revolves around the investigation of a boy’s disappearance in the background. A series of supernatural events occur around his town, including the appearance of a girl who has the ability to move objects with her mind. The work stars an ensemble cast that includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, and Dacre Montgomery.
After 3 years of waiting, the Stranger Things series has officially returned and is more powerful than before, as the film not only continues to attract a large audience, but also sets more records on the Netflix streaming service. Accordingly, this is the English movie title with the largest number of hours of weekend viewing on Netflix, with 286.79 million hours of viewing globally, as well as the Top 1 ranking of 83 countries.

The Duffer brothers developed Stranger Things in a way that blends the drama-investigation genre with supernatural elements created from science fiction with horror and childish acumen. The work won the Screen Actors Guild’s Outstanding Drama Series Cast, two American Film Institute awards, one Television Critics’ Choice Award, and three People’s Choice Awards.
