The August issue of Akita Shoten magazine Monthly Princess revealed on Tuesday that Sukeban Deka manga will have a new manga spinoff titled Sukeban Deka Pretend the magazine’s next issue on the 6th. Wada is credited for the original work, Sai Ihara is writing the script, and Shingi Hosokawa is in charge of drawing.
The new manga will revolve around Asami, a cheerful girl attending Takanoha High School. The story begins when she meets a mysterious yo-yo, and a mysterious girl.
Sukeban Deka recently got two new spin-off manga series. Saori Muronaga launched Toki o Kakeru Sukeban Deka (Sukeban Deka Who Leapt Through Time) in Monthly Princess on January 6. As/2003 Fukui launched Re: Sukeban Deka in the same magazine in February.
Wada’s iconic Sukeban Deka manga revolves around Saki Asamiya, a high school thug who makes a deal with the police to investigate her old high school and dismantle illegal gang activities. , in exchange for her mother’s forgiveness. Tac Wada published the manga in Hakusensha as Hana to Yume magazine from 1976 to 1982. The series inspired a 1991 anime video project and several popular live-action series and films in the 80s. It also got an adaptation of a 2006 live-action film.
