EA will be removing three Battlefield games from digital platforms and shutting down the online services of four other games over the next few months.

EA has confirmed that it will be shutting down the online services of four games, namely Syndicate, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckaming, Shadows of the Damned, and Warp. As usual, companies will eventually stop supporting the online service of certain games after a few years. This is the fate that awaits Syndicate and several other EA games. On March 28, support for the action-horror shooter Shadows of the Damned on PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One will end. After that, Warp and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will end its online service on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on May 15. Finally, on June 15, players will part ways with the game’s online services. More specifically, EA and DICE will remove three popular Battlefield games in April, Battlefield 1943, Battlefield: Bad Company, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. All three of these games received positive reviews at the time of their release. Initially, even Battlefield fans considered Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to be one of the best games of the series. Starting April 28, players will no longer be able to purchase digital copies of Battlefield 1943, Battlefield: Bad Company, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
