Kodoani.com – Manga Classics “One Piece“The author Eiichiro Oda is about to be adapted into a live-action film series, and the “One Piece Day 2023” stream event introduced a new trailer for this project. Author Oda accompanied the executive producer and gave a lengthy statement about the film, creating excitement for fans before the release date.
The live-action film of “One Piece” is slated to premiere on Netflix on August 31. In May, Eiichiro Oda stated that the series would only come out when he was “satisfied” with it and made sure that the elements involved were all working in sync. The project was originally announced to have 10 episodes, but will now only have 8 episodes.
In the trailer, the audience had the opportunity to see unique images of famous characters such as Arlong and Roger, along with the actors involved in their roles. The live-action cast includes well-known names like Inaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), and many other talented actors.
In this project, the Japanese voice actors for Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji in the TV anime version of “One Piece” will continue to voice these characters in the Japanese version of the live-action film. Additionally, Inaki Godoy and Taz Skylar will voice Luffy and Sanji in Spanish.
The live-action movie “One Piece” will air exclusively on Netflix. This project is produced by Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between Marty Adelstein and ITV Studios. The show will be written by Matt Owens (Luke Cage, Agents of SHIELD) and executive producers Steven Maeda and Becky Clements.
With a great perspective from the trailer and promises from the filmmakers, “One Piece” fans are being promised a successful blockbuster.
