According to the latest reports, Garena Free Fire has disappeared from the App Store. This confuses many people.
The game was first released in 2017 for mobile devices and grossed more than 1 billion dollars in 2019. Not long ago, the game was sued by NSX PUBG Krafton for plagiarism, copying ideas .
In September 2021, a version of the game with enhanced graphics and visuals called Free Fire Max was released. However, App Store users around the world were surprised to learn that both versions of the game were recently removed from the store. The case is attracting a large number of gamers.
Free Fire and Free Fire MAX disappeared from the App Store.
Currently, there is still no explanation from the publisher Garena or Apple about why the game disappeared in the App Store library. Many people speculate that Free Fire and Free Fire MAX have been removed from the iOS platform in connection with the recent Krafton lawsuit.
Both versions of the game Free Fire and Free Fire MAX are not available in the App Store which is really a shock to many players. Along with that, some players have also reported that they are having trouble accessing the game.
Garena is investigating the incident.
To reassure the gaming community, NPH Garena said: “We are aware of this issue and are investigating. In the meantime, please share your network provider name and also if you are using mobile data or Wi-Fi to launch the game.”
The game may have been temporarily unavailable so there are no upcoming App Store updates and will be re-added once restored on the app store.
Another scenario is that the developer needs to deal with the login issues players have when running the game. The worst case scenario is that Krafton’s lawsuit against Garena will affect this game.
Whatever it is, all we can do is wait for an official statement on the situation from Garena.
