This year’s June issue of Shodensha’s Feel Young magazine publishes the final chapter of Manga Beautiful Everyday on Saturdays.
Shodensha will publish the manga’s third and final compiled book volume sometime in the summer.
The manga was scheduled to end in the March issue on February 8, but the March issue announced the manga would end in the April issue. Then, Feel Young’s official Twitter account revealed the date. February 12th that the reason the manga won’t end in the March issue is because of Shimura’s “sudden illness”, and that the manga’s ending will be delayed to a later date.
The manga revolves around Karin, a young woman whose mother is an adult manga author. When Karin’s mother remarried, she had an older step-brother the same age as her and a younger step-sister. Her step-brother is the handsome Kōichi but often sexually harasses her. Her step-sister Miki has a complicated older brother who doesn’t like her. The manga follows this new family with three teenage step-siblings.
Shimura has been serializing the manga in Feel Young magazine irregularly since 2016. Shodensha published the first volume in June 2018 and the second volume in June 2020.
Shimura is best known for her Wandering Son and Sweet Blue Flowers manga, both of which had anime adaptations in 2011 and 2009. Fantagraphics Books is publishing her Wandering Son manga in North America, and Viz Media is publishing Sweet Blue Flowers . Seven Seas will publish Shimura’s Even Though Our Adult ( Otona ni Nattemo) manga online and in print starting January 26.
