1. Overqwil
Upon arriving in the land of Hisui, Qwilfish was stripped of the Water-type and modified into the dual-type Dark & Poison. It not only changes color to match the Dark system, but also adds a new form of evolution that is quite fancy for fans of the Legends Arceus game.
After casting Strong Style Barb Barrage at least 20 times, Qwilfish will evolve into Overqwil. Its shape is quite bizarre with sharp spikes surrounding a cosmic black hole. Although controversial because of its odd design, Overqwil has only one weakness, the Ground type, and it has the added benefit of being immune to the Psychic system and being resistant to four other systems.
2. Kleavor
Kleavor can be said to be one of the quite interesting designs of Legends Arceus. By giving Scyther a Black Augurite, it will evolve into Kleavor, a Bug-Rick-type Pokémon.
It can be said that, Kleavor is somewhat similar to its other brother Scizor with the Bug – Steel dual system. However, compared to Scizor, Kleavor is not very impressive in terms of strength. It is countered by 3 systems and is only resistant to 2 systems, compared to Scizor who is only bored with Fire, is immune to Poison and is resistant to 8 systems. However, Kleavor has better speed stats and better physical attack ability.
3. Basculegion
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the first game where gamers can drown in Pokémon, but the arrival of Basculegion, an evolved version of Basculin, allows gamers to swim across the land of Hisui.
Basculegion has a dual-type Water & Ghost, evolved from the Basculin species, with white stripes – a completely local version that only appeared in Hisui. Besides, Basculegion has a unique way of evolution when it requires Basculin to lose 300 HP from using skills like Wave Crash or Double Edge.
4. Ursaluna
Ursaluna is a new evolved form of Ursaring, which can be obtained by using Peat Block on the night of the full moon. Besides, Ursaluna is also a Pokémon that can be used to ride across the land of Hisui and help the player find treasure.
When upgraded, Ursaluna has an additional Ground type, thereby making this Pokémon completely immune to both Ghost & Electric types. Instead of using only 2 legs, Ursaluna uses 4 legs and that makes it easier to move in marshy areas.
5. Wyrdeer
Stantler is a Pokémon that is not favored by many gamers, and Game Freak has added an evolutionary form to it, Wyrdeer. After using Psyshield Bash in its Agile form at least 20 times, the player can evolve this Pokémon. Initially this quest looks quite difficult, but later you will have a small quest related to this in the Obsidian Fieldlands and owning Wyrdeer is no longer difficult. Wyrdeer also gains more Psychic than Stantler, making it immune to Ghost-type attacks.
6. Sneasler
Unlike Ursaluna, Sneasler is a new locally evolved form of Sneasel, but it is only level 2, not level 3. Hisui’s version of Sneasel will evolve using Razor Claw during the day, and the original version will become Weavile at night.
Sneasler has dual-type Fighting – Poison, completely different from Weavile’s Ice – Dark dual-type. This allows it to create a whole new gameplay for one of the most beloved Dark-type Pokémon of Generation 2.
