Kodoani.com – Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed during Sony’s State of Play livestream that the role-playing game, Tales of Arise, will receive an expansion called Beyond the Dawn. The expansion is expected to launch on November 9 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The expansion promises over 20 hours of new content including missions, new dungeons, and boss fights.
Beyond the Dawn takes place one year after the events of the main game. The story revolves around Alphen and the members of The Six, who are caught between being revered as Heroes of Dahna’s Liberation and reviled by Renans as Destroyers of Human Rights. They come across a girl named Nazamil, daughter of Lords Renan and Dhanan. The story revolves around whether six people can change the fate of the girl who will eventually fall under the mask’s curse. Beyond the Dawn promises to explore the world anew with party members connected by a strong bond, experience exciting new challenges, and see a familiar yet evolving world. Developed since the end of the original story.
The Beyond the Dawn expansion will include both English and Japanese voice acting, with localized text in various languages.
Tales of Arise was released in September 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The game won Best Role-playing Game in the 2021 Game Awards.
