Team Ninja has announced a new fantasy action game called Wo Long Fallen Dynasty from the makers of Nioh and Bloodborne.
Revealed during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on Sunday, the game is billed as a joint product of Team Ninja producers Fumihiko Yasuda (Nioh) and Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne). “Wo Long Fallen Dynasty will follow the action, drama story of an unknown militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Late Han period, where demons roam the Three Kingdoms.” Game trailer posted on Xbox Wire.
“Players will fight against deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordsmanship based on Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome life-and-death challenges by awakening true power from within. Dear, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty will be out in early 2023.” The title will be available for Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, and day one on Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Team Ninja’s most recent game, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, launched in March 2022. On Sunday, Microsoft released a list of 50 games that it says will be coming to Xbox and PC over the next 12 months. , including 43 games available through Game Pass on day one.
