If you notice, in version 12.1 of the last Arena of Truth, a series of champions using the Morello Demon Book have skill damage buffs. The reason is because Riot wants to compensate for their reduction in Morello Demon Book, but this inadvertently makes some units extremely strong. The most typical is Twisted Fate when a few Chinese Challengers have successfully tested the gameplay of pushing this unit to be the main force.
Twisted Fate got a very strong buff in patch 12.1
With the main use of Twisted Fate, the basic gameplay of this squad is to reroll to raise 1 gold units to 3 stars. With the extremely strong damage ability of both Twisted Fate and Darius, this squad can hold health extremely well during the reroll phase. Besides the 2 pieces mentioned above, you will need to pay attention and put in the lineup of Bodyguard units like Poppy or Blitzcrank to increase the rigidity of Darius.
The ideal starting lineup of the Gangs team
At level 5, you should add Ziggs and squad to add damage to the whole squad with the Wizard system. At this point, gamers will apply slow roll gameplay to bring Twisted Fate and Darius to 3 stars as soon as possible. In addition, this also gives you an additional opportunity to complete the 3 Gang milestone with Zyra or Shaco. Buying ready-made Gang units in the queue is not superfluous when the 5 generals mark is a huge power threshold for this squad.
The lineup you should aim for at level 6
After completing the Twisted Fate and Darius roll, the player will move on to level up and find a way to put as many Bodyguard units on the team as possible. Pieces like Leona or even Braum are extremely strong in the mid-game, so pushing to 4 Bodyguards at level 7 is extremely important.
In the late game, you can find Akali to replace Syndra if you own a 2-star Braum with good enough resistance. In the case of owning the Gang’s Seal, you can play up to 7 generals of this clan when giving that seal to Leona to further increase the “buffalo” of this unit.
Complete lineup at the end of the game (if you don’t have a Gang Seal, you should remove Zyra and replace it with any Mage unit)
In terms of tech core options, you can use the Mission Completion upgrade if you own the early 2-star Darius and Twisted Fate. In addition, the Hide Behind Me core is also a great upgrade when it will help Twisted Fate (usually standing right behind the Bodyguard units) become much more stubborn. Besides, as a reroll squad, you should also get the cores that provide gold and equipment to make the team building process more convenient.
With equipment options, Twisted Fate desperately needs Blue Charm and Morello’s Demon Letter to deal consistent damage in combat. In the third item, you can use all the items that increase skill damage such as Rabadon Witch Hat, Gem Gloves, Archangel’s Scepter. If you decide to use Akali at the end of the game, then Angel Armor is an indispensable item.
