Kodoani.com – Anime official website Rakudai Majo: Fūka to Yami no Majo (The Klutzy Witch: Fūka and the Dark Witch), adaptation of Satoko Narita’s children’s series The Klutzy Witch (Rakudai Majo), posted a trailer for the anime on Thursday. The trailer reveals more of the film’s voice cast, and also reveals a March 31 premiere date.
New cast members include:
Kensho Ono as Keith, a mysterious boy dubbed the Prince of Black Castle
Ayane Sakura as Lilica, a purple haired girl who is the key to the story
The main cast includes:
Honoka Inoue as Fūka (top center) Mutsumi Tamura as Chitose (left), Fūka’s childhood friend Manaka Iwami as Karin (right), another Fūka childhood friend
The series is set in a magical world with witches and wizards. The story follows the clumsy apprentice witch Fūka as she breaks the seal of a dark witch who nearly destroyed the world.
Takayuki Hamana (The Beast Player Erin, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection, The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light) directed the film at Production IG Kiyoko Yoshimura (Riddle Story of Devil, Cardfight!! Vanguard G, takt op. Destiny) wrote the script. Marumi Sugita designed the characters.
The first volume, Rakudai Majo wa Princess (Witch Klutzy is a princess), was published in October 2006. The collection contains 17 novels and a collection of short stories. The most recent novel, Rakudai Majo to Yami no Kyūden (The Klutzy Witch and the Dark Palace), was published in October 2013.
