TFT season 10: Instructions for playing the Akali – Karthus squad
Just like when Akali was side by side with Ahri in the K/DA squad, the playing style of the squad we’re talking about today also has quite significant similarities. Therefore, this will be an extremely flexible option to help you “wriggle out” in case you roll Karthus instead of Ahri.
The first special point is that both Akali (K/DA) and Karthus possess extremely strong sets of skills that threaten the back line. When the clans that possess the mechanism to rush straight into the backline (like Assassins in previous seasons) have disappeared in this season 10, this will be the biggest plus point that makes Akali different.
Search the front lines to keep the blood flowing
Super Stars will be a system that helps you defend well in the early stages of the match. Focus on finding standard items early for Akali and Karthus, so you can also think about using champions who can make good use of the items of these two main forces early on. For example, if you have an item to put on Blood Sword early, find Olaf to play Olaf Gladiator – Superstar. As for the case of picking up items to put on Shojin for Karthus, playing Nami Disco – Superstar is not too bad an option.
Mid and late game
Go to level 6 at 3-2. In the middle of this game, you can absolutely find a superstar champion as your “main force” before thinking about Akali and Karthus. A typical name for that position is Morderkaiser. This is a card that can take full advantage of the power of Blood Sword as well as Giant Power – 2 items that will later be removed and transferred to Akali.
Morderkaiser Superstar in the mid game will be a reasonable choice
Get to level 8 at 4-2, then focus all your efforts on finding Akali and Karthus. At this point, you can be flexible in completing the squad. Hitting 5 Pentakill with Karthus or hitting 5 K/DA with Akali are fine, even 4 Executioners is no problem.
Complete the squad with 2 main forces
The squad that will be at level 8 will probably be as follows: Akali, Karthus, Vex, Amumu, Morderkaiser, Gwen, Gnar, Lillia.
Prioritize using the following cores: Super Technology Intelligence, Vampire, Poison Doctor, Weakness Revealed, Punk Player, Pathogen, Devotion for Fans…
Akali – Karthus Executioner is currently considered one of the strongest squads in the early stages of season 10. A bit of difficulty in the early stages will appear when you cannot invest too much, instead you have to be real. save and save money to level 8.
The combination of Akali and Karthus is surprisingly perfect!
However, if you are stable with fully equipped Akali and Karthus on hand, playing the game will be almost “brainless”. There’s no need to reroll too much, your job is just to gradually slow roll to 2 stars for the generals on the field (of course 3 stars is good). Even the skill set that automatically selects long-range and weakest targets also makes card placement unnecessary.
