The rise of the 4-money generals group in TFT
In the recent version 14.8, Riot Games nerfed a series of reroll squads such as Yone, Gnar… In the opposite direction, a series of 4-gold champions received extremely noticeable buffs. As a result, the reroll gameplay is no longer so effective and TFT players gradually look for formations that make the most of 4-cost champions.
Many 4-cost champions were heavily buffed by Riot in the recent patch 14.8
Among them, the Wizard – Porcelain Thanh Hoa squad is emerging extremely strong when key generals such as Ashe and Annie are all buffed. Furthermore, this squad also possesses many champions with strong control such as Nautilus and Lissandra. These are important units to counter formations that use melee mains (Lee Sin, Kayn) which are very strong at present.
Build a team of Wizards – Thanh Hoa Porcelain
To have the best start, gamers should use Kog'Maw and Caitlyn combined with 2 Giant generals including Malphite and Cho'Gath. This is a frame that holds blood very well at the beginning of the match when it has damage to the back line as well as ensuring resistance. Furthermore, Caitlyn and Kog'Maw are both very good pawn champions for the main force, so gamers can combine equipment early.
The starting lineup is good with 1-money generals that are easy to upgrade
In the mid-game, gamers will aim for high-value 3-gold generals like Amumu or Illaoi. They will significantly increase the team's resistance and help gamers accumulate enough gold to reach level 8 as quickly as possible. If there is a chance, players should buy 4-money units such as Ashe, Annie, Nautilus… to facilitate “rotating cards” later.
Players can aim for 4 U Linh to optimize damage output for the team in the middle of the match
After reaching level 8, players should use gold to find and upgrade important 4-money units to 2 stars. Among them, Ashe, Lillia and Annie will be given top priority. After that, gamers need to keep the gold to level 9 at the end of the game. This is a necessary condition to buy useful 5-money units like Lissandra and Azir to aim for victory.
The squad is complete at level 9 with the milestone of 4 Thanh Hoa Porcelain combined with 4 Wizards
Equipment and Technology Core
With the main Ashe, items like Guinsoo's Rage Blade and Infinity Sword will be “suppression equipment” to ensure damage output. Lillia will need Blue Charm combined with magical equipment to cast spells continuously. As for the Technology Core, the upgrades that bring the Tsinghua Seal are extremely valuable as they can significantly increase Annie's resistance. In addition, the Boiling Point core or Recruitment are both extremely good for this squad.
