Riot Games may launch up to 3 Premium skins in the upcoming 2023 Lunar New Year event of League of Legends.
As usual, League of Legends usually celebrates the Lunar New Year every year with the launch of new skins as well as events related to this holiday at the beginning of the year. In the upcoming 2023, Riot has launched a brand new skin theme – Mythmaker with generals Irelia, Galio, Zyra, Garen or Sivir. Also indispensable is the Lunar New Year theme with new members Ashe, Qiyana, Thresh, Malphite and Kha’Zix. In particular, the Lunar New Year Qiyana is inspired by Ba Trieu – an influential figure in Vietnamese history. The new costume of the Elemental Queen is of course also designed by an all-Vietnamese team.

In addition, Riot also revealed two new Mythical skins also launching with the 2023 Lunar New Year event which will be Lissandra Porcelain Tsinghua and Mythmaker Sivir Prestige. According to BigBadBear, a famous leaker about League of Legends mentioned the great possibility of the appearance of Mythic skins. Although there are not many details about this new skin, but a series of evidence has been given to make us more confident about the leaked content of BBB.
Another trusted source from SkinSpotlights also mentioned the possibility of a third Premium skin appearing at the 2023 Lunar New Year event. According to him, the recent in-game deep data source was tells us most of the important information about the upcoming event of League of Legends. There is mention of “New Prestige Skin – Coming Soon”, hinting that there will be another Prestige skin that could be released. Since the Lunar New Year event was split up in both patches 13.1 and 13.2, the addition of skins in patch 13.2 makes perfect sense.

However, these may still be rumors that are not yet highly authentic or may not be true at all. But Riot Games is completely capable of releasing another Branded skin because of the popularity of the Tan Nien skin line in particular as well as the influence of the Lunar New Year in general.
