Kodoani.com – Sony has started broadcasting State of Play videos for RPGs Final Fantasy XVI by Square Enix on Thursday. Producer Naoki Yoshida posted a 25-minute video explaining Eikon’s plot, combat, adventure, and combat mechanics, all set to gameplay footage. The video also reveals that Kenshi Yonezu will perform the game’s theme song “Tsuki Wo Miteita – Moongazing.” Videos are available in both English and Japanese.

The game will launch on June 22 for PlayStation 5 as a PlayStation exclusive until December 31. Although the original live-streamed trailer listed a PC release, the trailer and The game’s website doesn’t list the PC version.
The collectible versions of the game in Japan and in the United States will include a box art, game, Phoenix vs. Ifrit, the pin collection, the Steelbook case, the world map canvas, and the in-game Black Sword item. Other rewards include the scholar’s glasses in-game item, art book, and soundtrack. The game’s early purchase rewards include the following in-game items: the Braveheart weapon, the Cait Sith charm, and the scholar’s glasses. The pro version of the game in the US includes the game, a Steelbook case, and a canvas map.
Square Enix’s Creative Business Unit III division is developing the game. Naoki Yoshida is producing Final Fantasy XVI, and Hiroshi Takai is directing the game.
