Just a few hours ago, VCS organizers made a new move surrounding the negative suspicion that has been weighing heavily on the biggest tournament in Vietnamese League of Legends recently. Accordingly, this is not an announcement of sentencing or the end of the investigation, but in fact is a list of 32 members of 8 VCS teams who are subject to further investigation. At the same time, these 32 characters will also be banned from participating in all Riot eSports activities during the investigation process until the final announcement. Worth mentioning, many of these names come from famous teams such as GAM Esports (Blazes, Pyshiro) or Team Whales (Gloryy, BeanJ).
VCS's announcement on the list of 32 players continues to be subject to additional investigation amid negative suspicions
As soon as the VCS announcement was made, Team Whales immediately posted a notice announcing their farewell to the two players on the list of continued investigation, Gloryy and BeanJ. According to many reviews right below TW's post, this is a rather hasty action as Gloryy and BeanJ are only under additional investigation, there has been no announcement from the VCS and Riot organizers regarding the two players. This has negative behavior. However, at the same time as the announcement from TW, both Gloryy and BeanJ also said that this was a voluntary action on their part.

BeanJ (left) and Gloryy both made two similar announcements about voluntarily leaving the team to support the investigation and confirm their innocence.
In addition, the VCS BTC announcement also shook Vietnamese League of Legends in particular and the Vietnamese Esports community in general. Below the VCS BTC post, countless comments from the audience and even famous names in Vietnamese Esports but in other disciplines were also surprising. However, the unexpected reaction is completely understandable, as this is a negative case with the most people involved, and there are many teams, even almost the entire squad, that are under additional investigation, like Team Flash, Vikings Esports or Rainbow Warriors.
The VCS community and the entire Vietnamese Esports village are extremely excited and confused because the number of players being further investigated is so large.
However, there are still many opinions in the audience that believe that, if the matter has not ended yet, in reality, these players are still not the ones who have been “involved”. Therefore, the VCS community in particular and the Vietnamese Esports village in general still need to wait for news alertly, avoiding hasty accusations that will affect the reputation of both players and teams.
