Kodoani.com – TV anime “The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3” released its second PV on Sunday. The third season will premiere on October 6 and air first on AT-X, then will be streamed by Crunchyroll starting October 6.
New cast members this season include:
Ami Koshimizu as Nadia Kouhei Amasaki as Fohl Konomi Kohara as Atla Maria Naganawa as S’yne
MADKID will perform the third season’s opening theme song titled “SIN”, while Chiai Fujikawa will perform the ending theme song “Suki ni Natte wa Ikenai Riyū” (The Reason I Can’t Love You). Both artists have participated in previous seasons of the anime.
Hitoshi Haga will be the director of the third season, and he was involved in the first season of the anime. Keigo Koyanagi continues to write and supervise the script, and Kevin Penkin returns to provide music. Kinema Citrus will continue to produce animation.
Anime “The Rising of The Shield Hero” is based on the original novel and manga adaptation by author Aiya Kyu. The series debuted with a two-hour special in January 2019 and then had a second season in April 2022.
