Viz Media is releasing the manga in English and it describes the first volume:
In the early 20th century, Russian-Japanese veteran Saichi “Immortal” Sugimoto outlined the meager existence of the postwar gold rush in the Hokkaido wilderness. When he stumbles across a map to a hidden Ainu gold mine, he sets out on a perilous quest to find it. But Sugimoto isn’t the only interested party, and everyone who knows about gold will kill to get it! Faced with the harsh conditions of the northern wilderness, ruthless criminals, and rogue Japanese soldiers, Sugimoto will need all his skill and luck — and the help of one girl. Ainu’s name is Asirpa — to survive.
Noda launched the manga in circulation at Shueisha in Young Jump magazine in 2014. 15 volumes of the manga were released in September 2018, and the manga included an animated DVD focusing on the manga’s Barato arc.
