The 8th map Valorant ‘Pearl’, where players will fight each other between the streets – alleys.
Fracture is the 7th map added to the Valorant universe in Episode 3 Act 2 in September 2021, since then no more maps have appeared. However, information about the 8th map appeared as soon as Fracture launched through 2 emails.
Through 2 emails, we know that the 8th map will have a very large dome, covering the whole city. And rightly so, the 8th map ‘Pearl’ is a map inspired by the city of Atlantis, the city under the sea. The previous maps were all located on Alpha Earth, especially Fracture, half is in Alpha – half is in Omega, this is the first time Valorant players have set foot on Omega Earth.
As far as the plot of the Valorant universe goes, Omega has more technological development than Alpha. But because of the overuse of resources, the climate was changed, the water level in Omega rose and engulfed cities. To cope with that sinking, Omega’s cities are equipped with a dome and the cities and areas are connected to each other through ships moving underwater.
To identify which map belongs to Alpha or Omega, you can rely on the logo of Kingdom Industries corporation. With the Kingdom logo striped will belong to Omega and the normal K logo belongs to Alpha. The Fracture map is the intersection of Omega and Alpha earths, so you will easily see both logos here.
The map ‘Pearl’ will be completely different from the previous 2 maps, Breeze and Fracture. While both Breeze and Fracture focus on expanding combat space, while moving between areas with ropes, the 8th map Valorant is quite the opposite. Pearl will focus on small skirmishes, objects and details in this map are designed closely together, similar to alleys in small streets.
The design of the Pearl map in Valorant is similar to other maps including 2 bombsite areas, 2 separate paths leading to 2 sites and 1 mid lane. However, if you are on the defensive side, there will be a small shortcut straight to the mid lane.
Although designed to focus on close combat, the bombsite areas are relatively large, especially the B-site with a lot of empty space. Try to occupy the key corners when defending in this area.
In contrast to B-site, A-site is relatively small and has few corners. When entering this area, you will almost have to face the enemy immediately. However, it must be noted that, because the A-site area is relatively small, the enemy’s traps can easily detect you. Try to destroy the traps and check the corners before entering the A-site.
Coming to the area in the middle of the map, this is where the lines intersect, where both attackers and defenders will have to try to capture to be able to control the remaining areas. This area has many similarities with the area in the middle of the Split map. Be careful before going through this area, it will always be full of dangers.
Valorant’s new map ‘Pearl’ will be released on June 22, along with Episode 5 Act 1. With Split map locked, Pearl will automatically become one of the alternate maps in the future. future. Stay tuned for the latest information about Valorant.
