This 18-year-old girl has just been arrested for spreading the news that a terrorist has opened fire at a big event, all because she wants to be… off work early.
Janya Williams – a security officer at the Lollapalooza music festival (Chicago) was arrested for making terroristic threats and spreading false information after texting many people that there was terrorism at this event.
“There will be terror at 4 p.m. this afternoon, right at this festival.” The message adds:
“We will attack almost 200 people.”
Immediately, after receiving the news, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Counter-Terrorism Task Force and the police were present to handle the case.
Very quickly, they discovered that the person who sent all the terrorist messages was the 18-year-old female good man.
Williams admitted to police that the texting was an idea she came across on Facebook and wanted to try it out for fun, with no terrorist intent. However, the police also investigated that she appeared to be mentally unstable. Through the phone Williams used to send fake terrorist messages, the police discovered a Facebook clone named Ben Scott, specializing in updating terrorist news in the world.
Immediately, the good woman was escorted away by the police right at the festival.
Through interrogation, it turned out that Williams did so because she wanted to leave work early, but the festival was still long, so she had to find a way to “dispel the crowd”.
