Cong (played by Quang Su) in the movie “My family is suddenly happy” inhibits the audience. Although Cong refused the affection of his colleagues to choose to be faithful to his wife, his behavior in the film still left controversy.
Although he made up with Phuong (the meritorious artist Kieu Anh) in the latest happenings of his suddenly happy family, Cong (Quang Su) is still an inhibitory character for the audience from the beginning of the film.
Compared to his two smart and enthusiastic brothers, Cong seems deep, unpredictable, and sometimes rigid. While his wife always tries to nurture the family, Cong often shows indifference and does not care about his wife.
Phuong impatiently wanted to give birth to a baby, but her response was her husband’s indifference and coldness. Every time his wife wanted to be close, Cong tried to avoid it, inviting his grandson to sleep with him or stay out until late at night.

In episode 15, My family was suddenly happy, after reading Mai’s message (Ngoc Anh), Cong did not mind it getting dark and ran to the office to help a young colleague. Despite rejecting Mai’s love, the character Cong still has many points that make the audience angry.
Viewers think that Cong has his own suffering that cannot be explained. However, the disrespectful and cold attitude towards his wife deserves to be blamed. “Tired of watching the character Cong”, “Not worthy of a man’s face”… are some of the audience’s comments about the character.
Only until episode 16 aired, the audience was less upset about this cold husband character. Cong began to make gestures of concern for his wife such as taking the initiative to hold hands, accompany his wife to carry goods and receive the part of carrying heavy loads on behalf of his wife.
Cong – Phuong seemed to be in harmony, but the marriage contained many “underground waves”.
Sharing with Tien Phong about this role, Quang Su said that the film has a thick character line and each character has a distinct color. He affirmed that Cong is different from himself in real life, but it is the difference that makes Quang Su excited to explore and experience this character.
“I don’t want to repeat myself on the screen. This is very boring,” the actor shared. Before that, he made an impression with the elegant marshal role in the movie Paper Roses.
