1. Time is infinite
Life goes by in the blink of an eye, so does anime sometimes. However, there are times when anime producers like to spread 5 minutes over several hours. Dragonball, Naruto is one of the few typical culprits of this making viewers bored and have to protest.
Besides, sometimes the anime also has a few fast-forward phases for several years and everything changes so quickly that viewers don’t understand what happens. The training part of the bonus characters is so fast-forwarded and viewers are forced to assume that the time in the anime is never the same as in real life.
2. Hair without blood and fire, no respect
Vibrant colors, hairstyles that do not follow any rules are very characteristic features of anime. It’s not hard for you to find rainbow-colored hair, very anti-physical hair that no one on this Earth can have? In the anime there is that full.
Occasionally, there are characters who actually dye their hair, but that doesn’t make viewers too interested. A lot of people have made a few quips about anime hairstyles, but it’s not too big of a deal. Perhaps the anime would have changed a lot without such a hairstyle.
3. Violence is funny
Violence is a very common thing in anime. It not only appears in action sets, but also in anime with many funny colors. It’s very common for a character to suddenly attack another character to be made light and witty.
This humorous element of violence is often done with male versus female characters, but that’s not always the case. Usually, when a character is angry or confused by being teased, they will take action, but usually only with their friends. This makes anime violence more common, but not too heavy, so it is gradually accepted by viewers.
4. Shouting and exploding lungs
One thing that is quite familiar to anime viewers is that the characters are angry and like to scream. When they’re excited, they’ll scream. If they are angry, they will grumble for the whole neighborhood to hear. You don’t need a reason, just do it.
Even so, the shouting in the anime is quite reasonable. When a character is radiating a lot of energy, it’s weird to stay calm. While it doesn’t make much sense to many viewers, this is gradually being accepted and becoming more common in anime than before.
5. So close, yet so far away
Anime characters are sometimes very… virtual. They don’t have superpowers, but they can still hear things from afar, and sometimes even magically telepathize with each other. This really confuses the viewer and does not understand how everything can happen according to such logic.
One of the examples of this is a character standing on a balcony, for example, talking softly but the character in the distance can still hear no problem. A character standing on this side of the river just needs to speak a little louder, even upstream can hear it clearly. This is a very confusing thing but there is no logic at all, but the plot has more important things so viewers don’t pay much attention.
