Recently, the producer for Movie One Piece Film: Red has revealed information about the release date of the film in Japanese and global theaters.

One Piece Film: Red is a Japanese anime film of the fantasy, action-adventure genre produced by Toei Animation. This is the fifteenth film in the One Piece movie series, based on the famous manga series of the same name by author Eiichiro Oda. It was first announced on November 21, 2021 to celebrate the premiere of the 1000th episode of the One Piece anime series and after the episode aired, the movie’s official trailer and poster also officially announced. The film is slated to release on August 6, 2022 (in Japan). The film introduced will be a journey around a new female character along with Shanks “Red Hair”.
One Piece: Red will hit theaters in Japan on August 6, promising the huge return of Shanks and the Fallen Hair bandits and introducing his daughter, Uta. Currently, Crunchyroll and Toei Animation are teaming up to release the new film in theaters worldwide this fall (October to December), bringing One Piece fans in North America and more. Toei Animation’s president and CEO, Masayuki Endo, had a few things to say when announcing that the fifteenth One Piece film will hit theaters worldwide:

This new movie from creator Eiichiro Oda will really engage fans in a thrilling new adventure with the Straw Hats and Uta – a mysterious new character in the One Piece world. “
The setting of One Piece Film Red will take place on the island where the world’s most famous diva named Uta performs her first live performance in public. Behind the image of the singer whose voice is considered to be on a “completely different level” is an extremely mysterious hidden identity. The Straw Hat Pirates and other Uta fans from various powers such as pirates and marines all gathered for this concert. The event begins as soon as the horrifying truth is revealed that Uta is the “daughter of Shanks”.
