The August issue of Kodansha, Dessert magazine revealed on Thursday that Nikki Asada’s manga is The Springtime of My Life Began With You (Kimi to Aoi Haru no Hajimari) will end in the magazine’s next issue on the 26th.
Kodansha Comics is publishing the manga in English and describes the story:
Suehiro is a quiet girl who prefers the greatness of books to the anxiety of real life with her friends. She was perfectly happy in her little world until the hugely popular Takasago asked her out for losing a game with her classmates, putting Suehiro at the center. Painfully, she tries her best to escape… but he persists, and insists on being serious! How will she deal with the disruption of her previously quiet life?
Asada launched the manga in Dessert in July 2019. Kodansha published the manga’s fourth compiled book volume on March 12. Kodansha Comics published the second volume online on June 8.
Kodansha Comics is also publishing the OJI ga Watashi wo Akiramenai! manga. Asada is also known as the novelist illustrator and original character designer for Sound! Franchise Euphonium.
