After about 30 years since the movie Dat Phuong Nam aired, “Stork” Phung Ngoc had the opportunity to reunite with “Uncle Ba Phi” Mac Can
Recently on his personal Facebook page, actor Phung Ngoc posted a video recording the moment he visited artist Mac Can at Thi Nghe nursing center (Binh Thanh district, Ho Chi Minh City). At first when we met, “Uncle Ba Phi” didn't recognize him, thinking he was an employee here. Only when he heard the introduction, “I'm a Stork”, did artist Mac Can remember Phung Ngoc and smiled and exclaimed: “Drama, you're so big now.”
In artist Mac Can's room at the nursing home, there are many memories of his artistic activities, including photos of the crew of the 1997 television version of Dat Phuong Nam. Phung Ngoc expressed his surprise when saw a picture of him and Hung Thuan (as little An) taken with artist Mac Can.
Before leaving, Phung Ngoc also gave artist Mac Can a gift, knelt down to hug him, making many viewers emotional, reminiscing about the movies associated with their childhood. According to Phung Ngoc, it has been about 30 years since filming Dat Phuong Nam.
The reunion of “Stork” and “Uncle Ba Phi” touched many audiences.

After that, Phung Ngoc moved into the field of content creation, livestream sales and gradually changed his life.
