Due to the sci-fi RPG’s large number of quests, Howard told IGN that the game is about a fifth longer than titles like Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim and Fallout 4. “The game is going to be long overdue. a bit more than our previous titles, and we were able to tweak some of the unfinished backlog,” he said. “That’s our big mission, so it’s probably 20 percent more than our previous products.” If players choose to skip the large amount of available side content, Howard says the main story will be the equivalent of 30-40 hours of gameplay.
The first Starfield title was shown on Sunday during the 15-minute reveal at the Xbox event and the Bethesda Games Showcase. “We want to thank everyone for their excitement for Redfall and Starfield. That energy is a huge part of what inspires us all every day and fuels our excitement for what we’re creating,” they added. “We can’t wait to share the first gameplay details for both Redfall and Starfield very soon.”
