Receiving news about the suspicious suitcase being thrown away, the bomb disposal team was immediately present, but it turned out that the inside was full of sex toys.
Police force representatives in Kakegawa prefecture, central Japan, said they received a call about a suspiciously thrown suitcase in the parking lot in the city cemetery. The incident took place on the morning of October 5, last year.
The bomb disposal team was immediately dispatched to the scene. Even the police had to blockade a road more than 300m long for several hours in a row.
The local media were also present in large numbers to follow the whole process. A helicopter is always at the top to monitor and broadcast live on television.
But after a thorough inspection, the bomb disposal team said it turned out that the inside was full of old sex toys. Someone stuffed them in a suitcase and threw them out here.
One policeman said:
“The suitcase was carefully wrapped and had a sturdy metal shell, and was left in a remote location. Through the description, we consider this to be an emergency and must act immediately.”
The police force said it was fortunate that the suitcase was not dangerous. Local media said the site was an illegal dumping ground for many people living nearby.
