As one of the biggest movie franchises in cinematic history, Jurassic films have grossed more than $5 billion at the worldwide box office to date. And to continue the success of the franchise, this summer, the blockbuster Dinosaur World will officially return to the big screen with the 3rd movie called Dinosaur World: Territory (original title: Jurassic World: Dominion). Recently, the studio has released the first official trailer, making the fans stand still with a series of unexpected, dramatic and suspenseful details.
The sequel will begin four years after the end of the second movie Dinosaurs World: Fallen Kingdom, when the dinosaurs have escaped from captivity and entered the human world.
Before releasing the first official trailer, Universal Studios also teased the third movie with a 5-minute opening movie called The Prolouge. The film takes the audience back in time 65 million years ago, providing an experience of a world before humans existed, a world in which dinosaurs lived. The opening part revealed seven new dinosaur species that audiences have never seen in previous Jurassic movies. Although it is just images of nature and dinosaurs, the video has also received more than 4 million views on the official Youtube channel, proving that the heat of the Jurassic brand has never cooled down.
At the beginning of the trailer are the footage that can not help but make the audience admire by the majestic natural scene and the extremely diverse dinosaur species. Now, they appear everywhere, not only on the island as before, but close to the eyes, even reachable. With such a situation, is it possible to exist an era in which dinosaurs and humans co-exist peacefully?
Unexpectedly, Owen also met the dinosaur that all the audience loved so much – Blue. But this time Blue did not go alone, but also brought another baby dinosaur. This has made Owen even more determined with the responsibility of protecting Blue’s mother and daughter to live safely.
Towards the end of the trailer, the action and chase scenes are more and more brutal and dramatic. Because obviously, both humans and dragons are not ready for each other’s sudden appearance in daily life. The trailer also offers a “gift” for moviegoers when revealing the return of the cast from the original film: Ellie Sattler, Alan Grant and Ian Malcom. And even more surprising in the final seconds of the film, the noises coming from the footsteps alone can bring the audience a feeling of extreme tension but equally curious. How “terrible” can dinosaurs really be this time?
Dinosaur World: Territory is also the work that marks the return of director Colin Trevorrow – the name behind the first Dinosaur World movie and co-produced with Steven Spielberg – director of the film Cong The legendary Jurassic of the past.
The film’s main cast continues with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as the leads Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, and the return of Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and BD Wong in the roles of them in previous installments of the series: Dr. Ellie Sattler, Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ian Malcolm and Dr. Henry Wu.
