“As a habit”, Garena often confuses a lot of gamers in each season of the Teamfight Tactics because of “bewildering” translation errors.
For many gamers, season 7 of the Teamfight Tactics is the most exciting season with a series of new features and mechanics. Especially to mention the rich diversity in generals and different Tribes/Systems.
But this novelty also makes it difficult for many gamers to get used to the meta. Even many streamers and gamers with a Master (or Challenger) rank last season being stuck at a lower rank this season is quite normal. Especially to mention the “difficulty” created by Garena himself such as wrong translation and making gamers make wrong decisions.
Typically, in the past time, many gamers have criticized the Vietnamese publisher of League of Legends for mistranslating (or missing, redundant, …) the Dragon Cores in the Arena of Truth. For example, the core of the Illusory Dragon’s Heart appears again… Canh Binh – which is “extinct” according to season 6.5.
There are also Gunner Badge cores (and many other Clans/Types) that are described as giving 1 Gunner Seal, 1 Giant Slayer, and 1 Tristana. In fact, this core only provides 1 Gunner Seal if it is a gold core, so this is a mistranslation error in the game and can affect the game quite a lot.
In the past, popular streamer PewPew also lamented on Facebook about the problem of Garena mistranslating the “Homemade Armor” core. So many gamers have a mutual understanding that in order not to be “tricked” by these translation errors, they must follow the TFT forums or updates from Riot Games themselves.
