Instead of pitting vampires and hunters against each other, Episode 1 of The Vampire Dies in No Time pits them against each other in a humorous partnership.
The anime’s title says it all – Dracula (or “Dralc”) in The Vampire Dies in No Time is no longer a horror legend. In fact, simply sucking the blood of his prey was enough to tire Dralc to the point of turning into a useless pile of sand. Meanwhile, the heralded hunter Ronaldo – desperate to maintain his image as a vampire hunter – similarly breaks the mold of the stoic, selfless hero. What’s even more unusual is their surprising chemistry as unfriendly assemblers.
Based on the 2015 manga, the latest anime in the fall of 2021. The Vampire Dies in No Time is based on the union of the two main characters, Dralc and Ronaldo, and their prison break in a mystical modern setting. The parodies created countless jokes and jokes that mocked the goofy vampire and the desperate hunter. In the midst of random chaos, the two end up unknowingly joining together, becoming a comedic team.
The first episode of The Vampire Dies in No Time immediately set Ronaldo on a mission to track down a missing child and confront Dralc. However, when he found the “invincible” vampire, he was quite dumbfounded by the pathetic fragility of Dralc. Though he’s a pitiful otaku obsessed with video games, Dralc lives up to his reputation as an immortal who can easily revive himself after defeat.
The show is largely based on silencing Dralc from death and coming back to life, but also presents Ronaldo as a desperate man, deeply worried about his reputation as a renowned vampire hunter. In addition to finding work, Ronaldo markets an autobiography documenting his adventures. However, it is unlikely that he will write about his actual clash with the infamous Dralc.
Both confused by their atypical encounter, Dralc and Ronaldo were caught up in the chaos. Their meeting actually ended in flames, with Dralc’s mansion burning down. So, Dralc arrives at Ronaldo’s doorstep, marking him responsible for his sudden homelessness. The two then suddenly find themselves in a situation where they have to deal with a vampire who wants to be a pair.
As explained by Dralc and Ronaldo, there are all kinds of vampires in Dead Vampires that can bite and turn people, but the venom of the smaller monsters is not strong and only requires a shot from the hospital to cure. However, Ronaldo is tasked with convincing the fake vampire that he shouldn’t want to be one – instead presenting the weak Dralc to dissuade him.
At the end of episode 1, the press poured in on Ronaldo’s encounter, suddenly believing that Dralc was acting as the vampire hunter’s newest arrival to join the Ronald Vampire Hunter Agency. Despite his uselessness, Dralc immediately got the credit and Ronaldo was speechless, unable to speak to the raving reporters because of their excitement in front of a team of hunters and vampires.
While Ronaldo initially sought to destroy Dralc like a monster, his arm is now twisted when accepting him as some sort of intern at his agency – or at least maintaining a cover is him. This awkward alliance sets the stage for The Vampire Dies in No Time, but also provides an opportunity for Drake’s loyalty to be tested. Will he become a useful partner to Ronaldo, or will he betray the vampire hunter as a nefarious bloodsucker?
