Time seems to have “forgotten” the actor associated with the childhood of many Vietnamese viewers.
Dinh Toan was born in 1976, is a theater artist, film – television actor, stage director and familiar MC on Vietnamese television. He is famous for his roles and artistic activities for children. To the audience of the 9x generation, Dinh Toan was like an area of childhood memories when at the Idecaf theater stage, he and the theater group Lieu Lo produced a series of popular children’s plays in the series “Once upon a time then Day” The Old Times.

Dinh Toan has been in the business since 2000. Besides playing the classic clown Ly Lak in Tales of the Past, he also participated in many other popular children’s plays. He also appeared in the classic series of the 9x generation such as Mui Ngo Gai, The Magic Family, etc., and hosted many children’s programs, so calling Dinh Toan a “childhood symbol” was not too much.
In addition to acting and hosting, Dinh Toan is also the person behind directing many big plays and TV shows. He used to be the director of famous plays such as: The Cat Goes To Hia, The Fairy Tale Of The Funeral Land, The Lord Of All Kinds, … or recently the Adventures of Captain Sinbad. The general director of TV shows such as Tinh Hoa Convergence, Star Connected Child, Tieu Lam Tu Tru Nhi, … And no matter what role, the work that Dinh Toan has been involved in for more than 20 years as a professional is mostly still associated with children.
Currently at the age of 46, Dinh Toan is still working hard in art, but mainly plays plays and MC. Looking at his recent pictures, the audience can’t believe that Dinh Toan is nearly 50 years old. He still looked as young as if he was in his thirties.
