The Rising of The Shield Hero is an anime adaptation of the hit web novel written by Aneko Yusagi. The story follows Naofumi, a male student summoned to another world as a hero. Accompanying him were three friends. The other three were assigned to attack knights in turn, while Naofumi became the Hero of the Shield, the most despised position ever. Banished by her own summoners, Naofumi decides to walk her own heroic path.
