A new Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes trailer confirms the return of Werewolf Ashen as playable characters and announces a free demo.

Nintendo surprised fans yesterday with a new trailer for the upcoming musou-style Fire Emblem spinoff of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. After weeks of consecutively releasing trailers on Friday, this Wednesday’s two-minute trailer for Fire Emblem: Three Hopes is quite unexpected and also reveals the return of some rather unexpected characters as well. as a free demo for gamers to experience.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a spinoff to the previous main series called Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which was released in 2019 and tells the story of a conflict in the divided land of Fodlan. The game will let you explore an alternate story that is expected to differ significantly from the events of the original game. Previously, a series of three trailers revealed that all members of the black eagle, blue lion, and golden stag will return as playable characters. With so many playable characters already revealed, fans aren’t sure if any more will be announced before the game’s release.

However, Nintendo revealed yesterday that a fourth house will join the fray: werewolves Ashen, the underground dwellers who first debuted in Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ Cindered Shadows DLC. Unlike the other houses, the werewolf Ashen consists of only four members: Yuri Leclerc, Balthus von Albrecht, Constance von Nuvelle and Hapi. In the original game, the Ashen werewolves resided beneath the Garreg Mach monastery and possessed powerful idols formerly believed to have been lost to history. If the player completes their story, you can recruit them on any of the Three Houses’ journeys.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes will release on June 24, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.

Only four Ashen werewolves have been confirmed as playable in this new trailer, but several previously unseen characters have been confirmed to make a return in Three Hopes. The new trailer includes Church of Seiros members Seteth and Flayn, the soldier archer Shamir, the noble of the kingdom of Faerghus, Rodrigue Fraldarius, Jeralt, and his father Byleth. Perhaps the most unexpected moment was the sending of Rhea, the archbishop of Seiros church, to the battlefield dressed as Saint Seiros himself. Rhea, Rodrigue, and Jeralt are all NPC characters from Three Houses; many fans hope that Three Hopes will see their debut.

In addition, the demo of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is now available to download and play for free on Nintendo Switch via the online store. The demo will include the entire intro to the game, allowing players to experience up to chapter 4 of the Scarlet Blaze, Azure Gleam, and Golden Wildfire routes. If the player later chooses to purchase the full game, all progress from the demo will be preserved.
